How our blind selection works

We’re inviting abstracts for presentations and workshops on new ingredient technologies, formulation science, sustainability, testing and claims, regulatory updates, brand stories and marketing.

Two rules

  1. Anonymous review. Our technical committee scores every abstract with speaker, company and brand names removed, so each one is judged only on its scientific and educational value.

  2. No commercial branding. Abstracts and presentations must be free of company logos, trade names and sales messaging. Please refer to ingredients by INCI name or chemistry.

Your submission

  • Presentation title, with no brand or trade names

  • Abstract, with no speaker or company names 180 words

  • Speaker bio 140 words

  • Contact details: name, company, email and phone

  • Preferred format: presentation or workshop

Abstracts close Friday 29 January 2027. Send everything to technical@nzscc.org.nz

What to send

Send your abstract and your bio and contact details as two separate documents, so the abstract can be reviewed anonymously.
